Avenues of Service

Rotary organizes service into six distinct Avenues that guide our work locally and globally.

Club Service – Strengthening our fellowship and club operations

Club Service focuses on building a strong, engaged membership. This includes organizing meetings and events that foster fellowship, recruiting new members who share our values, and ensuring our club operates effectively. By investing in our own club culture and operations, we create the foundation that makes all our other service possible. Strong clubs build strong communities.

Vocational Service – Promoting ethics and service through our professions

Through Vocational Service, Rotarians promote high ethical standards in their professions and use their skills to serve others. This includes mentoring emerging professionals, sharing expertise with those who need it, and demonstrating integrity in business practices. We believe that applying our professional talents to community needs creates powerful, sustainable impact.

Community Service – Addressing local needs and strengthening our community

Community Service addresses local needs through hands-on projects and partnerships. Our members identify gaps in services, mobilize resources, and work directly with community organizations to create solutions. From food drives to literacy programs, park cleanups to health screenings, we respond to what our neighbors actually need.

International Service – Building goodwill and peace through global projects

International Service extends our reach across borders through partnerships with clubs worldwide. We support clean water projects, healthcare initiatives, education programs, and economic development in communities that need them most. These collaborations build cross-cultural understanding while addressing critical global challenges.

Youth Service – Empowering and mentoring young leaders

Youth Service empowers the next generation through mentorship, leadership development, and service opportunities. We sponsor programs like Interact clubs, exchange students, and scholarship opportunities that help young people develop into ethical, engaged citizens. Investing in youth means investing in the future of service itself.

Environmental Service – Protecting our planet for future generations

Environmental Service recognizes that protecting our planet is essential to human wellbeing. Through tree plantings, clean energy projects, conservation efforts, and environmental education, we work to preserve natural resources and promote sustainable practices. A healthy environment supports healthy communities for generations to come.
